MANCHESTER CITY have rejected Inter Milan's £21million bid for striker Carlos Tevez.

The Premier League leaders are holding out for £25m for the Argentina ace, who has been AWOL in South America since November.

Tevez, also a target for AC Milan, favours a move to Italy. But Carlo Ancelotti's Paris St Germain are also poised to enter the chase.

Inter president Massimo Moratti said: "The offer is €25m. Now it's up to them whether they accept it or not."

DIMITAR BERBATOV could be on his way to Bayern Munich.

The German giants have contacted Manchester United and the player's representatives about buying the Bulgarian striker.

And they are set to bid £8million for Berbatov, 31 later this month, who is in the final year of his contract and free to talk to any interested clubs.

But United can activate a clause in his deal to keep him on for a further season.
